Autumn festival 2018
In addition to local meetings the church will arrange an international festival at Donningensferieby ("The Queens vacation city") resort in Grenaa, Denmark from September 24th to October 1st. Last year 70 people attended from 7 countries. The resort is owned by  the Sclerosis association and has 44 very nice , modern cottages. All of the cottages are especially designed for wheelchair users.   All of the cottages of 75 sq. m. are the same and have two bedrooms, a combined living room and kitchen area. The kitchen is modern and also has a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer and the sink can be raised or lowered for wheelchair users. There is a parking space for a car outside each cottage.  The layout of the cottage and more information with pictures can be seen on the resort’s homepage. The cottage can easily fit four adults and using the sofa in the living room up to 5 people. An English version of their homepage  is available if you click on the Danish flag in the upper right corner of their homepage.  The resort's homepage is: www.dronningensferieby.dk
The  resort is located on the sandy shore on Denmark’s  (Jutland’s) eastern coast. The city of Grenaa  has a population of  14 000 and the resort is just outside the city centre. The train station is 3 kilometres from the resort and the harbour with a ferry connection to Varberg Sweden is 1,5 kilometres from the resort There are several interesting sites to see in Grenå and the town is only 20 kilometres from Aarhus (Tistrup) airport and 60  kilometres from Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city.
